Help With Life Transitions
You know when it’s happening. Life is changing. You feel it. Yes, sometimes accepting change can feel really overwhelming. It can feel hard to accept. We feel it as new pains and tension in the body, headaches, irritability, overwhelm, panic, sleeplessness, changes in appetite, low energy, overworking, overdoing, isolating, crying or avoidance. Just thinking about it can quickly become overwhelming.
Life transitions can be large or small, sudden or predictable. They include events such:
Serious illness, marriage or divorce, pregnancy, birth of a child, adoption of or loss of a pet, retirement, a new job or a job loss, family crisis, financial problems, moving to a new home, moving to a new town or a new state, starting a new relationship, changing churches, graduating college, a “midlife crisis” or a profound spiritual experience.
Even good and expected changes may generate significant distress. Whatever the concern, bring it here. I’ve been there, too. I want to support you through in the most healthy ways.
