When I find myself deep in stress, I tend to find out around 4am. I awaken from sleep, heart pounding, sweating, thoughts repeating loudly, a sense of dread that’s very uncomfortable. This can keep me up for hours. I want it to stop. Stress can leave me feeling discouraged and paralyzed. Once I fall asleep again, it’s difficult to get up and start the day.
